Having trouble figuring out how to organize your day? Try the following:

The night before each workday print and fill out the Work Priority Matrix.doc (priority matrix):

  • Write down all of the tasks that are on your mind
  • Go column by column and circle which task has priority in binary comparison (A/B, A/C, etc).
  • Count the number of circles for each task, the tasks with the highest number have the highest priority.

Next, come up with a plan to accomplish these tasks by filling out the Daily Work Plan_slh.docx (daily planner.)

It is strongly recommended that you print these out and fill them out using a pen!

Keep both sheets with you as you go through your day. Note what works and what doesn't.

Keep all old sheets and review monthly.
